Add to this local architectural forward-thinking powerhouse Gensler, and this project brings together a team of the country’s most experienced and well-respected real estate entities to develop this iconic project.

Millennium’s commitment to sustainability started over 20 years ago when it began work on the first LEED Gold condominium in New York City history.  Most recently, Millennium completed the most energy-efficient, large-scale office building ever to be built in a temperate climate: Winthrop Center, in Boston, the largest Passive House office building in the world. Shorenstein founded its Sustainability Program nearly 15 years ago, inspired by the first Stanford Kyoto Trans-Asian Dialogue, hosted by the Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center.

HEALTH & WELLNESS
The health and wellbeing of its occupants has always been central to Millennium’s developments, from the very first development in New York City which opened in 1994 with a 140,000 state-of-the-art Reebok Sports Club, the likes of which Manhattanites had never seen before.  Since then, Millennium has included industry-leading fitness facilities in every building it has built. Based on commissioned research from MIT that shows the importance of both fresh air and social engagement to health and, ultimately, happiness, Sunset & Wilcox will take this imperative to new heights in the workplace.

Millennium has spent 30 years developing buildings that help redefine a neighborhood.  Iconic architecture has been an important part of that formula from the beginning.  Memorable architecture creates a beacon and can help change the way a city views an entire neighborhood. Sunset & Wilcox’s striking architecture will be a symbol of the rebirth of Hollywood for a new age. The development team hired Gensler to design the building.  There is no architecture firm as knowledgeable, as experienced, or as forward-thinking in the LA creative office ecosystem as Gensler.  They have designed a structure that is both recognizable and memorable.  This is one workplace that will summon employees back to the office.
